What to Expect

What to Expect

Welcome!

Come enjoy our comfortable atmosphere, relevant teachings from the Bible, plus fun and safe kids classes!

New Life Community is all about reaching our friends and family in the Pittsfield area with the good news of God! We are a group of imperfect people growing, serving, learning, and connecting with one another and God. We hope that no matter where you are at with God, New Life will be the best place for you to take your next step in faith.

Here are a few other questions you might be wondering about.

How long are the services?
We have two service times on Sundays; 9am & 11am. The 9am service is concluded at 10:15am, and the 11am service concludes at 12:30pm.
Do you have childcare?
Yes, but only during the 11am service. We offer a nursery for toddlers – pre-K, and a full children’s program up through 6th grade. You’ll see our King’s Kids family check-in sign and our volunteers can answer any of your questions and concerns!
What is the childcare like?
Children are very important to us around here. We want you to be able to relax in the auditorium, knowing your child is safe, secure, and learning valuable lessons about God in a fun, age-appropriate way.
What if my child needs me?
If your child needs you, we will text your cell phone or come get you if necessary. If you would like more information about our Children’s Program (called “King’s Kids”), click here.
How should I dress?
Please wear something comfortable for you…you won’t stand out. People normally wear t-shirts and jeans, polos and khakis, dresses, skirts, shorts and everything in between.
What’s the music like?
The music is contemporary and focuses on lifting high the name of Jesus. Depending on what service you attend, you will hear drums, guitars, vocalists and violins; and whatever other instrument Pastor Nick decides to throw into the mix. He is one talented guy!
Am I expected to give?
You can if you wish, but it isn’t expected. We don’t pass the plate or anything; there is an offering box in the hallway, where our regular attenders & members give to further the good news of Jesus.
What if I need to leave early for some reason?
We understand that things come up and you may need to leave early. That’s OK. We have two rear exit doors, and if you think you may need to, just sit near the back and leave whenever you need to.
That’s it!
